Care and Support Services UK

Care and Support Services available at QLM

Supported Living

All service users where appropriate, are supported to take more and more responsibility for their own health care needs. However, they need both practical and emotional support in doing so. Ensuring access to good primary healthcare remains a central responsibility of the service. The service users are registered with a local GP, and the GP makes up an essential part of the care team and as such, background details, especially those issues surrounding previous health care input, must be shared with the doctor. The relationship between the doctor and the service user is confidential and access to medical records by the Personal Assistant is by informed consent on the part of the service user.

Domiciliary Care

We provide domiciliary services to people living in their own homes. Offering a wide range of high-quality and flexible care services for older people and vulnerable adults. Our care services can include one-hour visits or full-time round-the-clock live-in care. The team of skilled staff deliver person-centred care, supporting each client and service users' personal needs and requirements, while enabling the service user to remain independent and supporting them to feel included in their local communities.

Respite Care

We can support you and your family with three kinds of respite care:
- Live-in care in your own home.
- Domiciliary care in your own home: We support you in your own home for a few hours while your carer takes some time out.
- Staying in one of our comfortable care and nursing homes: while you recover from an illness or operation, or your carer takes a much-needed break.

Elderly Care Service

If you want to stay living in your own home, but feel that you need some support, our live-in elderly care service could be what you’re looking for. Our bespoke care covers companionship and personal care, through to support taking your medication, moving safely around your home and avoiding falls, plus help with household chores. We also provide specialist elderly care, supporting people with higher levels of need including: Dementia and Alzheimer’s, Palliative care and End of life care.

Live-in Care Services

Our 24-hour live-in care service is for people with more challenging or complex care needs who want to live in their own homes. Two live-in care staff live with you. One is mainly active during the day and the other is mainly active at night.
